and Trauma Recovery
Because Living a Peaceful Life is Your Birthright.
Living with the effects of past challenges or difficult experiences can feel overwhelming, leaving you drained and on edge. You might feel like you're constantly navigating inner turmoil—searching for peace and balance but unsure where to find it.

Trauma impacts every layer of our being—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Trying to address just one part often falls short because healing requires us to honor the complexity of the whole person.
Yoga therapy provides a compassionate, holistic approach. It uses ancient wisdom to gently support every aspect of your well-being and guide you back toward calm and wholeness.

What is Yoga Therapy?
Lauren will use Yoga Therapy tools such as physical postures, breathwork, meditation, sound practices and other mindfulness techniques that are layered together based on your individual needs.
Why Yoga Therapy?
Yoga Therapy (YT) using the healing power of an ancient practice to build resilience in the body. When we have resiliency, we can tap into our innate ability to heal. Therefore, YT can be used to help manage a lot of different conditions.
How is this possible?

There are very few healing modalities that consider all layers of being human and are so highly customized. If you incorporate these practices into your life you will gain resilience. YT rebuilds resiliency layer by layer within the human experience. You will be given practices that help to balance your entire being. This is beyond the physical poses most of us know from our yoga classes.
This is why it works.
In YT we use a much broader range of practices–thousands of years old and supported by modern science–to facilitate healing. These tools are curated for YOU as an individual, working step-by-step through each layer of being.

The Layers of Being (Human)
How is your physical/energetic and mental state of being?
-
Can you move without pain?
-
Do you have joint mobility and freedom?
-
Is your muscular strength even and balanced?
-
Do you have steady energy throughout the day?
-
Do you breathe and move with ease?
-
Are you thinking clearly?
-
Do you feel calm and emotionally balanced?
-
Can you be in the present moment?
Get more 'yeses' for your health!
Answering yes to all of these questions may seem like a tall order, and it is. But we can use yogic tools to address imbalances in each of these areas, to get more 'yeses' than 'no's', creating better full body balance and ease suffering.
