What is Yoga Therapy and who is it for?
Yoga Therapy (YT) is a healing methodology that uses practices from the yoga tradition to build fortitude and balance in all realms of being - body, mind and spirit. Tools like physical postures, breathwork, meditation, sound practices and other Mindfulness Yoga Techniques are layered together in customized practices by a Yoga Therapist for the individual in need.
Yoga Therapy sessions are conducted one-on-one between Yoga Therapist and client, (different from a traditional yoga class). Sessions include customized yoga practices specific to the needs and circumstances of each client, and they are adjusted over time as needed.
These practices are empowering yoga tools, and help individuals embark on their own unique healing journey.
